Join the Taping Truth Study


Have you heard that taping your mouth at night can improve your sleep, and wondered if that really works?

Mouth taping has become one of the most talked-about sleep hacks of the last few years. But despite the buzz, the scientific evidence is surprisingly thin. The Taping Truth Study aims to change that. We're running the largest study yet on mouth taping in healthy adults using objective data from wearables.

To participate, you'll need an Oura, Whoop, Fitbit, or Pixel Watch. Participants receive guidance on following 30 nights of randomized taping assignments and, at the end, a personalized report showing how mouth taping worked for you.
